Where children learn, achieve and enjoy success

On behalf of the children, parents, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Old Heath Community Primary School and to our website. Our school is located on the outskirts of Colchester town centre at the junction of Old Heath and Abbots Road (CO2 8DD)

Old Heath Community Primary School is now closed in lines with the regulations issued by the Government in response to the Coronavirus situation.

We are running a childcare provision for key workers as prescribed by the Government. If you are a parent whose circumstances have changed and you would like to contact us with regard to childcare please email on office@oldheath.essex.sch.uk.

The majority of our parents are connected to Parentmail and we will contact you directly using this form of communication during this time. We have set up Purple Mash as an online learning service as well as the paper based learning pack we created before the schools closed. If you do not have your pack it is saved in school for when you are able to collect. It can be placed in the school foyer for a ‘pick up’ without contact if you ring the school with a proposed pick up time.

For FSM families we organised food bags before schools closed. We are awaiting information from the Government with regard to FSM vouchers, hopefully on Monday 30th March.
